Probabilistic Certification

Certification and optimal MHE design

Nonlinear continued stirred reactor with parallel reaction \(R\rightarrow (P_1,P_2)\)

Impact of the observation horizon \(N\)

Impact of \(N\) for different noise levels

Uniform versus gaussian distribution of uncertainties

Sinusoidal versus random excitation signal

Impact of the precision level \(\eta\) used in the certification

Certified feedback law for propofol-based control during anesthesia

Closed-loop simulation for three randomly sampled instances of patients corresponding to the vector of model’s parameters given below. Notice how the control of \(x_1\) is adapted by the controller so that for all patient, the Bispectral Index is regulated at 50.

The three vectors of model’s parameters unknown to the controller and used in the above closed-loop simulation.

Certified QoS of an EV charging station

description

The Electric Vehicle Charging Station of the univrsity of Berlin to which the proposed solution is applied.

The power profiles under the proposed solution and the base-solution. Note how the proposed solution enables to tightly meets the limitation of the power as decided the day before.

Each dot represent a scenario associated to a connected EV. The blue dotted line represent the frontier under which the QoS constraint is satisfied.
